Why do my neck and shoulders get stiff?
Nice to meet you.
My name is Yoshi.
In our treatments, pain often disappears quickly. However, I don’t believe that’s the most important thing.
Even if the pain goes away,
if we don’t find the root cause, it will likely come back.
Our goal is not just to relieve pain but to identify its cause and ensure it doesn’t return. If you’re struggling, please don’t hesitate to reach out for a consultation!
Have you ever gone to a local massage or chiropractic clinic and felt better temporarily, only for the pain to return a few days later or even worsen? Have you experienced something like that?
Even after trying various places, the relief might not last. While treatments like electrical therapy, massage, or stretching can help, if they don’t fully resolve the issue, it could mean only the surface of the problem has been addressed.
The true cause might still be untouched.
In many cases, I believe the real cause of the pain lies in a different area from where it hurts
There are many causes of neck and shoulder stiffness in daily life.
Constantly looking at your phone or doing desk work causes your head to tilt forward, putting strain on the muscles of your neck, shoulders, back, and arms, which makes them tense and stiff.
This is why neck and shoulder stiffness occurs easily.
Additionally, if you’re right-handed or left-handed and primarily use one arm, it’s common for only one shoulder to feel stiff.
Why does lower back pain occur?
Are your daily activities or habits making your body more prone to lower back pain?
One of the causes is the misalignment of the pelvis and spine.Habits like crossing your legs, frequently adopting a half-standing posture at work, or other situations that put strain on your lower back can, over time, unknowingly disrupt the balance of your pelvis and spine, leading to increased stress on your lower back.As a result, this can cause persistent lower back pain that doesn’t improve easily or recurring episodes of acute lower back pain (lumbago).Additionally, favoring one leg—whether you’re right-footed or left-footed—can lead to movements that cause misalignment on one side of the lower back.
90%of the causes of pain are not located in the painful area itself.
Approach the body by looking at it as a whole.
Pain is fundamentally caused by being pulled. When something is being pulled, it means there is a contracted muscle on the opposite side. This contracted muscle is the true cause of the pain. To correct the misalignment, we make delicate adjustments to the entire body.
